The cottage has two bedrooms and can sleep from 1-4 people.

The cottage has a real home from home feel. It has private off street parking. All fuel and power is included in the rent. Bed linen is provided.

Walkers Retreat is available all year round.

For the comfort of all our guests the cottage is strictly no smoking throughout, and we do not allow pets.

The cottage has double glazing to all windows, full central heating through electric storage heaters and is tastefully decorated and furnished to a high standard.

On the first floor guests can relax in the lounge/dining room with colour TV, video/dvd player and stereo unit. The kitchen has a range of very well equipped modern units, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a dishwasher, microwave and electric cooker.

On the ground floor the bathroom has a bath with electric shower, toilet, wash basin and shaver point. Bedroom one has a double bed, whilst bedroom two has adult bunk beds with solid frame.

Walkers Retreat has been inspected by Quality Cumbria which is operated by Cumbria Tourism to very specific criteria to ensure quality and safety.
